G.James Releases ‘ToughLam’ Range
G.James has just announced the release of its GJ ToughLam range, which includes toughened and heat-strengthened laminated glass products for high-quality projects. The range is now available across Australia, with G.James Victoria able to provide additional technical services and short lead times.
The release follows G.James’ recent equipment investments including significant upgrades to its cutting-edge, autoclave-based laminating plant in Melbourne.
The new range of GJ ToughLam – heat strengthened or toughened laminated glass – can be specified in configurations and interlayers that include standard PVB and SentryGlas® ionoplast, ensuring the highest strength and structural performance. GJ ToughLam can also be specified with a hi-performance acoustic interlayer for enhanced sound control.
This range is ideal for use in custom windows, glass fins, balustrades and pool fences, skylights and overhead glazing, enabling architects and window manufacturers to maximise innovations in retail, commercial and residential markets by delivering the very best combination of safety, security and solar control.
In addition, the new range includes GJ ToughLam FLOOR for architectural flooring and stair treads, as well as GJ Toughlam GRAPHIC, featuring the very latest low-volume ceramic print technology that efficiently combines images or abstract graphics for use in screens, canopies and overhead glazing to meet any design requirements.
With close to 100 years experience, G.James has built a reputation for high-quality products across a wide range of product streams.
The G.James’ range is backed by a full package of support services for its Melbourne customers, including specifications, engineer calculations and certifications required to deliver quality glazing solutions.
